Being a Texan for (almost) all of my life (let’s not mention 14 miserable months in Mississippi), I have a passion for all things related to this great state. Whether it’s BBQ, nightlife, skyscrapers, prairies, or beer, Texas suits my flavor for anything that is important at that moment.
Born in Corpus Christi, raised in the Houston suburbs, lived in Houston downtown, and currently residing in Galveston, I believe that every part of Texas has something that can reach your soul. Fortunately, there is a vast array of beer choices and breweries to choose from in the state. Whether you’re looking for a small nano-brewery (i.e. my local – Galveston Island Brewing Company) or a well-established craft brewery (i.e. Real Ale Brewing Company), our goal is to bring Texas beer to the forefront of everybody’s mind.
While the major national breweries have their place and will always have their supporters, bringing new flavors and awareness to the great brews being created is my personal goal.
